Did you know?

The mission and purpose of UFCP, Inc, is to build and direct a health center, also known as a dispensary, to address the basic healthcare needs of the local population. While carrying out this mission, we also hope to enhance the fraternal spirit amongst the natives, friends, and supporters of the commune of Camp-Perrin. With this purpose in mind, we hope to carry out initiatives and projects that improve the living conditions of the community as a whole.

About US

The inspiration to develop Union Franternelle de Camp Perrin, Inc. came from witnessing the devastating impact of Hurricane Jeanne in 2004. This hurricane caused severe damage to the community of Camp-Perrin and its surrounding regions.

Due to the organization’s efforts to raise awareness and support, a local resident donated 1.5 acres of land for the construction of the health center. In 2009, the organization launched the preliminary phase of construction, including site preparation, foundation building and structural works.

In 2010, an Earthquake hit Haiti and stressed the relevance of this project for thousands of Haitians who fled Port-au-Prince in search of refuge in their hometown of Camp-Perrin.
