Did you know?

The mission and purpose of UFCP, Inc, is to build and direct a health center, also known as a dispensary, to address the basic healthcare needs of the local population. While carrying out this mission, we also hope to enhance the fraternal spirit amongst the natives, friends, and supporters of the commune of Camp-Perrin. With this purpose in mind, we hope to carry out initiatives and projects that improve the living conditions of the community as a whole.

Did You Know

Union Fraternelle de Camp-Perrin (UFC)
-      Camperrin is in the South-Western part of Haiti.
-      Located 180 miles from the capital city of Port-au-Prince.
-      2010 the population reached 71,168.
-      Population is scattered unevenly over 3 districts.
-      The main health facility built in 1982, is located in the 1st district.
-      There are no major healthcare facilities to serve those in the 2nd and 3rd districts.
-      Malaria, typhoid, and hepatitis are the major recurrent diseases affecting those in these districts.
-      UFC’s project targets the 2nd municipal district and in the long run will serve a population of between 30,000 – 50,000 people.
-      A 1400m2 facility is under construction to house the basic services.
UFC Clinic Goals
-   To provide basic health care services and information to meet the local needs
-   To provide a center for healthy community information to raise awareness for healthy living
-   To provide a center and information base for educational and community organizations
-   To provide field training and social service opportunities for students in the fields of medicine, social science, and or other disciplines.
 -  To serve as a demonstration site for communities and health care providers, to enhance public health information, nutrition program, disease prevention programs and well-being
