About Us
The inspiration to develop Union Fraternelle de Camp-Perrin came from witnessing the devastating impact of Hurricane Jeanne in 2004. The hurricane caused severe damage to the community of Camp-Perrin and the surrounding regions.
Through the organization’s efforts to raise awareness and support, a local resident donated 1.5 acres of land for the construction of a health center. In 2009, UFCP launched the preliminary phase of construction, which included site preparation, foundation work, and structural development.
In 2010, a major earthquake struck Haiti, underscoring the urgency and relevance of this project for thousands of Haitians who fled Port-au-Prince in search of refuge in their hometown of Camp-Perrin.
